Spy Shots: Chery Arrizo 3 is getting Ready for the China car market
New spy shots showing that the Chery Arrizo 3 is almost ready for the China car market. A gray test car was spied in cold northern China accompanied by two red Chery Tiggo 5 SUV’s. The Chery Arrizo 3 is a brand new sedan that will debut on the Beijing Auto show in April next year and it will be launched on the China car market in the second half of next year.
Wheels look tiny again in their arches. Chinese automakers use small tires as a cheap way to cut down fuel consumption. That might work but it doesn’t help comfort and it looks horrible. This is especially a shame when the rest of the car looks rather good, and this new Chery does.
The Arrizo 3 is the second car under the new Arrizo sub brand, the first was the Chery Arrizo 7 that was launched in July. Power will come from a 1.5 liter four-cylinder with 122hp, mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT. Size: 4458/1755/1493mm, wheelbase is 2572mm. Price will start around 70.000 yuan and end around 90.000 yuan.
Materials are fine, but only just. Black plastics look a bit too cheap on this photo. Very sporty dials. Multifunctional steering wheel. Large touch screen in center console.
