Spy shots of the facelifted Great Wall Haval M2 SUV, it is scheduled to debut on the Beijing Auto Show in April and it will be launched on the China car market in the second half of the year. The facelift includes a new grille, new headlights, new rear lights, new bumpers, and an updated interior. The photos also show the vehicle will drop the Haval name to prevent confusion with the separate Haval brand. New name will thus be: Great Wall M2. Strangely, the facelifted M4 will keep the Haval name.
The current car. Coolio Haval lettering won’t come back. Price starts at 67.900 yuan and ends at 77.900 yuan. Lone engine is a 1.6 liter petrol four-cylinder with 106hp, mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT. The engine and the CVT will continue in the facelifted M2, but the old 5-speeder will be replaced with a 6-speed manual. Price will be about the same.
