Spy Shots of the new Peugeot 408 sedan testing in China. The new Peugeot 408 will be launched on the China car market late this year, debut is expected for the Guangzhou Auto Show in December. The new Peugeot 408 will be based on the same platform as the Citroen C4L that was launched on the Chinese auto market in December 2012.

The current Peugeot 408 sedan, manufactured in China by the Dongfeng-PSA joint venture. Price starts at 126.900 yuan and ends at 176.900 yuan. Engines: 1.6 and 2.0.

The new Peugeot 408 will get the same engines as the Citroen C4L: 117hp 1.6, 163hp 1.6 turbo, and the recently launched 140hp 1.8. Price of the new Peugeot 408 will start around 125.000 yuan and ends around 185.000 yuan.
