Spy Shots: new JAC sedan testing in China

New spy shots of the new JAC mid-size sedan, featuring an impressive grille and large headlights. The new sedan will debut on the 2014 Beijing Auto Show next month and will launch on the China car market in the second half of 2014. It will be positioned above the recently facelifted JAC Heyue sedan.

The new sedan will be the largest passenger car ever manufactured by JAC. It will compete with cars such as the Trumpchi GA5, the Emgrand EC8, and the Changan Raeton. Price will range from around 120.000 yuan to around 200.000 yuan. There will be three engines available: a 2.0 with 100hp and 180nm, a 1.8 turbo with 160hp and 235nm, and a 2.0 turbo with 175hp and 265nm.
