Spy Shots showing the facelifted Geely Emgrand EC8 with the new Emgrand logo prominent on the massive new grille. The facelifted EC8 will debut on the Chengdu Auto Show in September and launch on the Chinese auto market in Q4. Besides the grille, the facelift includes new headlights, new bumpers, and new rear lights.
The Geely EC8 was launched on the China car market in 2010 and was last facelifted in 2012. Price starts at 99.800 yuan and ends at 209.800 yuan. Two four-cylinder petrol engines: 141hp 2.0 and a 162hp 2.4, bot mated to a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic.
Engines and transmissions will continue in the facelifted Geely Emgrand EC8 and price will be about the same.
Rear lights looking great. Tiny chrome strip over the boot lid.
So it seems the Emgrand brand will survive, along with Englon, perhaps. But the logo looks like the one we began seeing in 2009…..or is there a subtle change?
When viewed from the front, some might say shades of Hawtai.
Why does their logo look like something from a cartoon… It looks like a cheaply made copy, and poorly, of Cadillacs… Which is sad
You are right, Dragin, it is the old Emgrand logo. The new at the Beijing Show has changed colours: blue.
