The Tesla Model S 60 has been launched on the Beijing and Shanghai car markets. The 60 kWh Model S is priced at 648.000 yuan or 104.000 USD.

The Tesla Model S is only available in Beijing and Shanghai. The only Tesla store in China is in Beijing. The Shanghai store isn’t open yet but Tesla has a service center there. Sales go through the Beijing store. The Shanghai store will open ‘soon’. Tesla will open a new store in Hangzhou next month, with other cities to follow.

Buyers in Beijing or Shanghai who order a Tesla now have to wait 3 to 4 four months for their car. Buyers in other cities can’t get one yet. It the wait is too long, they have to go gray.
