Spy Shots: Haval H1 seen testing in China

New spy shots of the Haval H1 testing in China. The Haval H1 was expected to debut on the 2014 Beijing Auto Show but didn’t show, debut is now expected for the Chengdu Auto Show in September. The 1 will be positioned below the new Haval H2 SUV.

The Haval H1 is based on the Great Wall C20R crossover (pictured). Price starts at 62.900 yuan and ends at 66.900 yuan. Lone engine is a 106hp 1.5 liter four-cylinder petrol, mated to a 5-speed manual.

The Haval H1 will be powered by a 1.5 turbo with 147hp, mated to a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT. Wheelbase is 2460mm, exactly ten centimeter shorter than the H2 which measures 2560mm. Price for the Haval H1 will start around 60.000 yuan and end around 80.000 yuan.
