The first spy shots of the new Besturn X70 testing in China. The X70 is a compact SUV that will be launched on the Chinese auto market in 2015. Price will start somewhere around 70.000 yuan. The X70 will be the smallest SUV of the Besturn brand, a subsidiary of First Auto Works (FAW).

A trendy looking thing aimed at trendy young people in second and third tier cities. The X70 will be available with two four-cylinder petrol engines: a 1.6 with 102hp and 145nm, and a 1.8 with 136hp and 172nm. Both engines will be mated to a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic.
