Porsche 911 Carrera S Martini Racing Edition arrives at the Chengdu Auto Show

This is the new Porsche 911 Carrera S Martini Racing Edition, seen here arriving at the exhibition center for the Chengdu Auto Show where it will officially debut tomorrow. The Porsche 911 Carrera S Martini Racing Edition is a limited edition for selected markets in Europe, China, and Latin America. Production is limited to just 80 cars.

Special thingies include: the Martini livery, a white finishing on the dashboard with a Porsche 911 Carrera S Martini Racing Edition badge, an Aerokit Cup kit (a fixed rear spoiler and a more aggressive front splitter), Sports Chrono package, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with sat-nav, a Bose sound system,

Martini stripes on a Porsche, how iconic and such. The area around the rear wheel arches loox a bit empty, there should have been another stripe, or an iconic racing number or so. Something! Alloys are in matte gray. Power is unchanged, making this Martini car just another marketing exercise. The 3.8 flat six delivers 400hp and 440nm.

Rumors say China will get 18, nine white cars and nine black. Price yet unknown as well, but bet it will be very expensive.
