Spy Shots showing the facelifted BYD S6 SUV for China. It will debut on the Guangzhou Auto Show in December and launch on the Chinese car market around the same time. The facelift includes new headlights, a new grille, a new front bumper, and new rear lights.
This is the current BYD S6. Price starts at 79.900 yuan and ends at 129.900 yuan, and that makes it one of the cheapest full-size SUV’s on the market. Engines: 140hp 2.0, 153hp 1.5 turbo, and a lazy 160hp 2.4. All are mated to a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic.
The engines will continue in the facelifted BYD S6 and price will likely go down still a bit more. The BYD S6 is getting old, overshadowed by the BYD S7 and under attack by the upcoming BYD S3, but holding out strong as there is still a large market for this kind of bargain barges.
