A 1:4 design model of the upcoming Cowin X5 SUV. It will debut in concept form on the Beijing Auto Show in April and the real thing will hit the Chinese car market in early 2018. The Cowin X5 will be positioned above the new Cowin X3.

Cowin Auto is a new car brand under Chery Automobile, focused on making cheap vehicles for young car buyers, a booming market in China. Cowin Auto will develop new vehicles from scratch and they will inherit several vehicles that are now sold under the Chery name. The Cowin X5 is most likely based on the Chery Tiggo 5. The X5 will be powered by the 152hp 1.5 turbo that also serves in the Tiggo 5.

A bit busy at the back, but overall an attractive design.
