The new Lincoln Continental has been launched on the Chinese car market. China is only the third country in the world to get the new Lincoln flagship after the United States and Canada, underscoring the vital importance of China for the Lincoln brand.

Sales are on the up even without the Continental. In the third quarter of this year Lincoln sold 20,988 cars in China, plus 191% compared with the same period in 2016. Lincoln is getting very close to Infiniti which sold 29,000 cars in Q3. They are catching up with Cadillac (77,028), but still very far away from Audi (440,023), BMW (371,976) and Mercedes-Benz (344,791).
