Official images of the car so far known as the Geely Emgrand Mini. It is however unsure whether that name will be used when the vehicle hits the Chinese car market in Q2. The cars on the photos wear a license plate with Geely V01, which is said to be its internal code name.

The V01 is based on the good old Geely Panda, called the Panda because it looked like a panda. It was first sold under the GLEagle brand, then moved to the Geely brand while keeping its GLEagle badges. Price for the Panda ranges from 36.900 yuan to 49.900 yuan. Engines: 68hp 1.0 and a 94hp 1.5.

The V01 gains black plastic wheel arches and a roof rack for a crossover look. The engines of the Panda will continue in the V01, they will be mated to a five-speed manual of a five-speed automated manual (AMT).

An earlier spy shot of the interior. This is likely a future EV version, note the drive selector dial on the center tunnel. The big screen and digital instrument panel however will be standard in across the range.
