It’s been good and I’ve enjoyed the first hand view of China, but…

Like a number of others this is goodbye as WE WILL NOT SUPPORT OR VISIT FACECROOK.

      Hello Ralph,

thanks for your comment. I don’t understand why you are so anti-Facebook, but that of course if your choice and decision. For me it works fine with a VPN, it allows thet o use all sots of media, and reach a very large audience. I need to fix some issues with the site, most notably the lack of speed. The site’s design dates back to 2009 but the amount of data and visitors the site has to deal with is much bigger now. I have patched up the site several times, but that doesn’t work anymore. So I have to choose between building an all new site, which is expensive, or moving the whole thing to Facebook. The answer would be easy if my site generated enough income, but sadly it doesn’t. Greetings, Tycho.

Tycho, you do know that Facebook is blocked in China and using VPNs a pain, or impossible on some office computers. And many of your readers are in China.

thanks for your comment. Yes, I am in China too, but with a VPN I have no troubles working with Facebook. I need to fix some issues with the site, most notably the lack of speed.
