Recently, the new SUV Haval Dargo was unveiled at the Jeddah Motor Show in Saudi Arabia and its global name was announced worldwide for the first time. Haval is a brand of Great Wall Motors.
The Haval Dargo is a renamed version of the Chinese DaGou SUV, also known as the Haval Big Dog. This Chinese name was voted on by many Haval fans and Chinese internet users through numerous online calls for applications. According to David Xu, the GWM GCC General Manager, the new model represents the “Dare to go” product concept.
The exterior modification of Haval Dargo differs from the version for China local market with a trapezoidal radiator grille, modified bumpers, slightly modernized LED optics, and the absence of chrome inserts. Dimensions are Length 4,620 mm, Width 1.910 mm, Height 1.780 mm.
The interior of Haval Dargo has no significant difference. Similar to domestic ones, the new model is equipped with a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument panel and a 12.3-inch color multi-media touchscreen.
In terms of engine, Haval Dargo will be powered by 1.5 turbo and 2.0 turbo turbocharged engines, with output ranging from 169 to 211 horsepower, operating together with a 7-speed double-clutch robotized gearbox and all-wheel drive.
