Zeekr 001 and Zeekr X are now open for reservation for customers in the European market, according to Zeekr Europe’s official website. These two models will first be launched in Sweden and the Netherlands, and delivery is expected to begin this year. Part of the Geely family, Zeekr only focuses on premium electric vehicles.
In the Netherlands, the starting price of Zeekr 001 and Zeekr X is 59,490 euros and 44,990 euros, respectively.
In Europe, Zeekr adopts a direct-to-customer sales model. Its first official brand stores will open in Stockholm and Amsterdam before the end of this year, then subsequently throughout Western Europe by 2026.
Previously, Zeekr announced the launch of its European official website (www.zeekr.eu) at the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show and opened the first batch of pre-orders for Zeekr 001 and Zeekr X to selected European customers.
Zeekr 001
Zeekr 001 is an electric hatchback. Currently, four models with CLTC cruising ranges of 546 km, 656 km, 741 km, and 1,032 km, at a price range of 300,000 – 386,000 RMB (43,500 – 55,900 USD) are on sale on the Chinese market.
Zeekr 001 offers dual-motor four-wheel drive and single-motor rear-wheel drive configurations. The dual-motor four-wheel drive version outputs 400 kW and 686 Nm, with an acceleration time from 0 – 100 km/h in only 3.8 seconds. This version is equipped with a ternary lithium battery with a capacity of 86 kWh and 100 kWh, achieving a CLTC cruising range of 546 km and 656 km, respectively. The single-motor rear-drive version outputs 200 kW and 343 Nm. This version is equipped with CATL’s Qilin battery, the third generation of CATL’s cell-to-pack technology battery, with a capacity of 100 kWh and 140 kWh, achieving a CLTC cruising range of 741 km and 1,032 km, respectively. All configurations support fast charging.
Zeekr X
Zeekr X is an electric SUV, also the third vehicle under Zeekr, targeting the compact luxury SUV market. Built on the SEA electric architecture, Zeekr X offers both single-motor and dual-motor configurations. The dual-motor version can accelerate from 0 – 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and has a cruising range of 500 – 560 km. It is powered by a 66-kWh battery and can generate up to 428 hp.

At these prices it’s a huge fail. Too expensive. Bye bye Zeekr, noone will buy your cars in Europe.
At those prices I’ll keep my petrol engine. Another 10 years and electric cars might be priced affordable to the masses.
I wanted to buy a Zeekr X because I like the car, but the price in Europe is horribly inflated, 49,990 euros + accessories, and the same car in China or Russia costs 32,000 to 36,000 dollars. And why is the surcharge for non-premium colors in Europe 1200 euro white to 1600 euro green, are you crazy?
