Voyah is a high-end new energy vehicle brand under the Dongfeng Motor Corporation. In June, Voyah sold 3,007 vehicles, achieving a 150% year-on-year increase. The Zhuiguang PHEV version is part of Voyah’s plan to diversify its product portfolio. The existing Zhuiguang EV offers two pure electric ranges of 580 km and 730 km.

Positioned as a medium-to-large sedan, the size of Voyah Zhuiguang is 5088/1970/1515mm, and the wheelbase is 3000mm. It stands on the ‘ESSA+SOA’ platform. ‘ESSA’ stands for Electric, Smart, Secure, and Architecture. ‘SOA’ stands for Service-Oriented Architecture, which is an electric architecture with high computing power. Voyah claims that this platform has high electric drive efficiency and supports all-electric, hybrid, and hydrogen powertrains. In addition, the ESSA platform’s battery can charge up to 230 km in just 10 minutes.

In terms of appearance, from the side, the car looks elegant with chrome-plated trim strips on the window frames and side skirts, and hidden door handles.

The front face adopts a matrix grille design with the Voyah brand logo displayed at the center. There are also chrome-plated decorations on the left and right sides of the front bumper.

Furthermore, the multi-spoke rims add a sporty flavor. Power will come from a 1.5T hybrid engine, giving it a 1,000+ km comprehensive cruising range under the condition of full fuel and full charge. The car will be available in front and rear dual-motor four-wheel drive.
