Luxeed was founded in China this year as a joint project between Chery and Huawei. Its domestic name is 智界 (Zhijie). In this collaborative project, Chery provides the E0X electric platform and takes care of manufacturing. And Huawei acts as a leading parts supplier. Luxeed vehicles are offered in Huawei’s flagship stores around China. However, Chery has recently applied for the Luxeed trademark in Russia, indicating it will take care of the new brand’s global sales.

The first model from the Luxeed brand is the recently launched S7 electric sedan. And the second model under Luxeed will be a fastback SUV.
