High anticipation surrounding Geely’s Lynk & Co Zero sedan, codename E371, has been building up in the past month. When asked about its official debut during the Beijing Auto Show, Deputy General Manager of Lynk & Co, Flynn Chen, answered by posting on Weibo. “Lynk & Co Zero is being tested extensively in Huangshan. Trust us, the champion of multiple WTCR titles, to deliver a performance-tuned Lynk & Co Zero.” Huangshan (Yellow Mountains) is a majestic mountain range located in the Anhui Province in China, which consists of many peaks, some more than 1,000 meters high.

Instead of using the codename E371, Flynn Chen confirmed the name Lynk & Co “Zero” in his Weibo posts, as we had expected the car to be named. He also posted official spy shots of the new car in red and black.

From these photos, this new car features the latest Lynk & Co family-style design on the front face, using the iconic separate daytime running lights. It also has concealed door handles and a continuous taillight design. The car’s overall appearance reminds us of the Lotus Emeya, which Geely also owns.

The new car is a high-performance electric sedan that shares the SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) and 800V platforms with the Zeekr 001. On this note, the Zero may house a powertrain found on its Zeekr counterpart. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive will have a combined power of 580 kW and a range of up to 656 km. At the same time, a performance model may also be in the works. The Zeekr 001 FR with quad-motors has 1,247 hp and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.07 seconds. The Lynk & Co. Zero+ is potentially similar.

Flynn Chen also shared renderings of the new Lynk & Co Zero on his Weibo account.

Previous rumors suggest that the new car will exceed 5 meters in length, with a width of 2 meters and a wheelbase of 3 meters, similar to Zeekr 001’s dimensions of 4977/ 1999/ 1545 mm and a wheelbase of 3005mm.

The sedan will likely use Geely’s AI Digital Chassis, which is integrated with proprietary technology. This will enable autonomous driving, intelligent safety assistance, and cloud-based features for a mobility experience. The highest trim level of the upcoming Zero is rumored to be equipped with quad motors featuring four-wheel steering.

Flynn Chen confirmed that the Lynk & Co Zero will debut during the first half of 2024. We expect it to be revealed next month in Gothenburg, Sweden. The is price range is likely to be 200,000 to 300,000 yuan (27,600 to 41,400 USD).
