Chery Exeed Exlantix ET (Sterra ET) launched for 26,300 USD, available in EV and EREV

On May 9, the Exeed Exlantix ET (known as Sterra ET in China) officially entered the market, available in EV and EREV versions in a total of eight models, with a price range of 189,800 – 319,800 yuan (26,300 – 44,300 USD). Exeed is a high-end brand under Chery.

Positioned as a medium-to-large SUV, the Exeed Exlantix ET measures 4955/1975/1698 mm with a 3000 mm wheelbase. It is built on the E0X electric platform.

The entire vehicle has up to 956 LED lamp beads for lighting, according to Exeed. The car is also equipped with a roof lidar to realize advanced driving assistance capabilities, which Chery partnered with Bosch to build the solution.

Inside, the cockpit is offered in four colors: brown, gray, black, and purple. Notable features include a 15.6-inch 2.5K central control screen, a 10.25-inch floating LCD instrument panel, and a D-shaped steering wheel. The in-vehicle voice assistant is based on the Lion AI model.

In addition, the Exeed Exlantix ET has a 2.38㎡ panoramic sunroof, a 23-speaker system, and a center console that can slid open.

The windows are equipped with 6mm double-layer laminated glass to reduce the noise level. The standard trunk storage volume is 546 L and can be expanded to 1835 L after the rear seats are folded down.

The EV version is available in five models, powered by a rear electric motor or dual electric motors and CATL’s Shenxing battery pack. The fastest 0 – 100 km/h acceleration time is 3.8 seconds and the top speed is 210 km/h. Based on an 800-volt architecture, the fastest charging time is 9 minutes to replenish the battery from 30% to 80%.

Furthermore, the EREV version offers three models for consumers to choose from and is powered by a rear electric motor and a 1.5T range-extender engine, paired with a 32 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack from CATL. The electric motor outputs 195 kW and 324 Nm while the engine outputs 115 kW and 220 Nm. The 0 – 100 km/h acceleration time is 7.8 seconds and the top speed is 180 km/h.

The entire series has a CLTC pure electric range of 200 km and a CLTC comprehensive range of 1,518 km. At the same time, Exeed claims that the official measured comprehensive range is over 2,000 km. Built on a 400-volt architecture, the fastest charging time is 28 minutes to replenish the battery from 30% to 80%.
