The first right hand drive versions of the Zeekr X have now rolled off the production line. Overseas deliveries are expected to begin in the third quarter of this year. Previous Australian reports have indicated that Zeekr will launch there in the second half of the year and so Australia may be the initial destination for RHD versions.

Thailand is also a possibility given that both the Zeek X and 009 opened to pre-orders at the Bangkok International Motor Show in March. Zeekr at the time claimed deliveries in Thailand would commence in Q3. Zeekr plans to open its first Thai store in Bangkok this year and gradually expand the sales and service network to cities including Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Pattaya.

Bar having the steering wheel on the right the only major difference between the RHD model and the LHD model is the choice of colors which at the beginning are restricted to a just Hangqing Green or Athens Cloud White.

There is currently no word as to whether both the four seat and five seat versions of the Zeekr X (see specs) will be available in RHD markets but it is likely that initially only the more normal five seat version will be exported. The four seater at first glance looks as if it has a normal bench in the back but the center portion has a large fold down armrest and the cushion part is not only removable but provides storage. Meanwhile the seats on either side can pop the cushions up to provide a space for transporting pets.

The Zeekr X comes with an 8.8-inch LCD instrument panel and a 14.6-inch infotainment unit. On at least some versions the center screen can electrically move over to the passenger side. For the driver there is a head up display complete with animated navigation prompts.

Both rear wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions are available and the car rides on a 400V version of Geely’s Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) platform. In China the single motor version powered by a 200 kW motor that produces 343 Nm of torque is only available as a four seater. Meanwhile there are both four and five seat versions of the 2024 model year all-wheel drive version which adds an additional 115 kW of power and 200 Nm of torque with a motor on the front axle. Range for the single motor version is 560 km (CLTC). For the four wheel drive version range is either 512 or 500 km (CLTC) depending on trim level. Battery capacity for all versions is 66 kWh with batteries supplied by either CATL or CALB.
