In particular, Zeekr’s first store in Indonesia will be located in Jakarta, and subsequent stores in major cities such as Surabaya and Bandung have also begun construction. In Malaysia, Zeekr’s first store will be in Kuala Lumpur, and stores in major cities such as Selangor and Penang will also begin construction later this year. The right-hand drive (RHD) version of the Zeekr X SUV and Zeekr 009 MPV will be the first flagship models to enter Indonesia and Malaysia. Earlier on June 7, CNC reported that the first RHD versions of the Zeekr X rolled off the production line in China with overseas deliveries expected to begin in the third quarter of this year.

Currently, Zeekr is in more than 25 markets around the world and is expected to enter more than 50 international markets this year, covering Europe, Asia, Oceania, and Latin America. In recent years, the Southeast Asian market with a population of 700 million has become a new frontier for competition among automakers, which also includes Indonesia – the fourth most populous country in the world according to the U.S. Census Bureau. So far this year, Zeekr has already entered the Philippines, Laos, and Myanmar, and gradually starting delivery to RHD markets such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and Macau.
