Since launching last year sales have reached 280,000 units and in May the Wuling ranked second in the small cars sales list with sales of 13,870. Key changes for the 2024 model are various equipment changes, a faster top speed and better value for money, all likely designed to take the fight home to the first-ranked BYD Seagull. Prices for the 2024 version range from 56,800 to 84,800 yuan ( 7,850 – 11,700 USD). Four models as below are available:

The appearance of the Wuling Bingo (see specs) remains unchanged. However, there is a new option of Snow Mountain White paint for the 203 km light version. Dimensions of the car are also unchanged at 3950, 1708, and 1580 mm (l/w/h) and a wheelbase of 2560 mm.

333 and 410 km range versions have a new Skyclave Green color option for the interior. The Wuling Bingo offers a remote-controlled Bluetooth key, an electronic parking brake, automatic parking, and electric 6-way adjustable leather seats. Storage capacity with the seats down is 1,240 liters.

Importantly 333 and 410 km versions get an upgrade with a three-in-one water-cooled flat wire motor, which have stronger heat dissipation capacity. Although peak power remains the same at 50 kW the top speed has increased by 10 km/h to 130 km/h. The 203 km version keeps the previous 30 kW electric motor and continues to have a top speed of 100 km/h.

All versions of the Wuling Bingo now support DC fast charging with a charge from 30-80% taking 35 minutes. Previously, there were versions of the 203 km range car without this. Battery sizes for the three ranges remain at 17.3, 31.9 and 37.9 kWh respectively.

Overall the range has been simplified, upgraded and you now get a higher specification car for your money. This should help the Wuling Bingo compete with the BYD Seagull. The Wuling Bingo is available in China and some export markets, including Indonesia.

Wuling is a joint venture with SAIC the main owner with a 50.1% share, followed by GM with 44% and the remainder belonging to Liuzhou, Guangxi Province, based Wuling.
