Recently, the new Jetour Traveller was declared by the Chinese MIIT, adopting a brand-new exterior design and is powered by a 2.0T engine. For reference, the Jetour Traveller on sale offers 1.5T and 2.0T engine options, with a price range of 139,900 – 184,900 yuan (19,100 – 25,200 USD).
In September, the sales volume of the Jetour Traveller was 15,523 units, a year-on-year increase of 189.4% and a month-on-month decrease of 6.2%. From January to September 2024, the cumulative sales volume of the Jetour Traveller was 121,349 units.
In the front, the bumper and the center grille have been redesigned. The grille adopts an irregular shape decorated with chrome bars, paired with an independent rectangular headlight group that has been blackened. The “JETOUR” brand letters have been moved to above the grille and are painted in black. At the same time, the new Jetour Traveller still presents a square box shape.
The rear retained the external square box, a side-opening tailgate, vertical taillights, and a high-mounted brake light; and is narrow at the top and wide at the bottom.
Furthermore, the new Jetour Traveller is equipped with a new style of 19-inch aluminium rims, widened wheel arches that bulge outward, new side steps, and a roof platform luggage rack. The A, B, and C pillars have also been blackened.
The length, width, and height of the new Jetour Traveller are 4785/2022/1910 (1880/1950) mm, respectively, the wheelbase is 2800 mm, and the curb weight is 1898 (1924) kg. The approach angle is 26° and the departure angle is 28°. For reference, the dimensions of the Jetour Traveller on sale are 4785/2006/1880 mm, and the wheelbase is 2800 mm.
Power comes from a 2.0T engine code-named SQRF4J20, with a maximum power of 187 kW (251 hp) and a peak torque of 390 Nm, which is consistent with the existing 2.0T model on sale. The 7-speed DCT is also expected to be present. The specific parameters are subject to the official announcement.
