Dongfeng unveils compact electric crossover Nammi 06
Dongfeng released pictures of cute electric crossover Nammi 06. The EV is 4.3 meters long and has a single 135 kW (181 hp) motor.
Nammi currently sells only one car – the Nammi 01 compact hatchback, which was launched in January 2024 and starts at 74,900 yuan (10,300 USD). Nammi 06 will be its second car, and thanks to homologation filings, we know the core specs.
The dimensions are 4306/1868/1645mm (length, width, and height), respectively, and the wheelbase is 2715mm. The e-motor has a maximum output of 135 kW and a top speed of 150 km/h. The curb weight is 1,975 kg. The battery information has yet to be revealed.
Last year at the Beijing Auto Show, Dongfeng presented its partnership with drone maker DJI in assisted driving. The Dongfeng-DJI’s advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) will be first installed on Nammi cars, companies announced.
Nammi 06 is a good-looking car with large plastic fenders, short overhangs, and a big rearview mirror mounted to weirdly shaped stalks.
The EV has already applied for a sales licence in China, the last step before hitting the market. CarNewsChina expects it in the second quarter, possibly at the Shanghai Auto Show in April, at a price of around 100,000 yuan (13,800 USD).
