Great Wall Motors has officially launched the 2025 WEY Lanshan, with customer deliveries underway across China. The updated model introduces three new exterior colours—morning white, dusk cyan, and midnight black—alongside an all-black interior. It remains available in two configurations: the Max trim at 299,800 yuan (approx. 41,300 USD) and the Ultra trim at 326,800 yuan (approx. 45,000 USD).

Visual updates include replacing chrome accents with gloss-black elements. The Midnight Black variant adopts a fully blacked-out appearance, while the white and cyan options have contrasting two-tone roofs. New black multi-spoke alloy wheels and optional red brake callipers are also available. The vehicle’s dimensions are unchanged at 5156/1980/1805 mm with a 3,050 mm wheelbase, continuing to support its six-seat layout.

The Lanshan retains GWM’s Hi4 plug-in hybrid system. A 1.5-litre turbocharged engine generates 125 kW, paired with a rear dual-motor setup delivering 220 kW and 410 Nm of torque. This allows 0–100 km/h acceleration in 4.9 seconds. The Max version features a 44.5 kWh battery offering 221 km of electric range (CLTC), while the Ultra uses a 52.3 kWh battery for up to 263 km.

The SUV has a 15.6-inch central infotainment screen and a matching co-pilot screen. Drivers get a 29-inch augmented reality head-up display. Second-row captain’s chairs and a front passenger seat with heating, ventilation, and massage functions are standard. The Ultra trim adds a 17.3-inch ceiling-mounted rear screen. Additional features include 50W wireless charging, a dual-spoke steering wheel, and a small integrated refrigerator.

The 2025 Lanshan features GWM’s Coffee Pilot Ultra assisted driving system, incorporating Hesai’s AT128 LiDAR, 27 sensors, and an NVIDIA Orin-X processor. An over-the-air software update scheduled for later this month will introduce expanded autonomous driving functions, including end-to-end navigation and automated parking.

In April 2025, Lanshan sold 3,835 units, placing it eighth in China’s mid-to-large hybrid SUV segment. Key competitors include the Li Auto L8, Aito M7, and BYD Tang L DM.
