Voyah has released official interior images of its upcoming Voyah FREE+, a refreshed version of the current Voyah FREE SUV. The new model will begin pre-sales in June and will feature Huawei’s HarmonyOS Cockpit 5.0 and the Qiankun ADS 4 advanced driving assistance system.

The interior of the Voyah FREE+ showcases a new design style, predominantly using light-colored materials. Key interior features include a floating complete LCD instrument cluster, a large central control screen, and a HUD head-up display system.

The HarmonyOS Cockpit 5.0 system offers seamless phone integration, a “super desktop” function, one-touch screen mirroring, Huawei Share capabilities, and various desktop themes. The Voyah FREE+ also introduces a new three-spoke steering wheel and a column-mounted gear shifter. The centre console has been redesigned to include dual 50-watt wireless phone charging pads and storage compartments, while the central armrest box now features a dual-side opening mechanism.

For an enhanced audio experience, the vehicle is equipped with a 22-speaker sound system supporting 7.1.4 panoramic sound. The front seats feature headrest speakers, and the central console speaker includes ambient lighting. Rear passengers will benefit from extended seat cushions and headrests, a dedicated air conditioning control screen, and air vents. The front passenger seat also has a screen expansion interface on its back. All four doors utilise a button-activated opening mechanism and support electric soft-closing.

In terms of exterior design, the Voyah FREE+ adopts a closed front grille, with the headlights connected by a black trim panel. The front bumper features a simple design with black decorative elements. The vehicle’s rear retains the original lamp clusters but features a revised rear bumper.

The Voyah FREE+ has slightly increased in size, measuring 4915mm in length, 1960mm in width, and 1660mm in height, with a 2960mm wheelbase. Compared to the current model, the length and width have each increased by 10mm, and the height by 15mm.

Technological advancements extend to the exterior with the addition of a roof-mounted lidar sensor, and cameras positioned on the front fenders and rear spoiler, all contributing to the Huawei Qiankun ADS 4 driving assistance system.

Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS 4 has four versions, among which the ADS Ultra flagship version features a dedicated L3 highway solution.

Under the hood, the Voyah FREE+ will be powered by a range-extended electric powertrain consisting of a 1.5T engine and electric motors, available in two- and four-wheel drive configurations. The 1.5T engine has a maximum net power of 95 kW (127 hp). The two-wheel drive version features a single-drive motor with a maximum power of 215 kW (289 hp), while the four-wheel drive version has front and rear motors with maximum powers of 135 kW (182 hp) and 215 kW (289 hp), respectively.

The vehicle will have a 43.2 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack. The two-wheel drive model offers a pure electric range of 235 km or 225 km, while the four-wheel drive model provides a pure electric range of 196 km or 190 km.
