This is SGMW joint venture’s upcoming pure electric compact SUV – the Wuling Bingo S, also the third model under the Wuling Bingo series. The Wuling Bingo S is positioned above the Wuling Bingo Plus and the official launch will be later this year with a starting price between 80,000 (11,100 USD) and 100,000 yuan (13,900 USD).
For reference, the Wuling Bingo Plus starts at 75,800 yuan (10,500 USD).


The Wuling Bingo S continues the design of the Wuling Bingo series, featuring a round shape, retro triangular headlights, a trapezoidal grille on the front bumper decorated with silver trim, and through-type taillights.

From the side, the Wuling Bingo S adopts a two-color body design and the A, B, and C pillars are blackened. Traditional door handles are also retained. Additionally, the fast and slow charging ports are located on the left front fender.

The two-color five-spoke 16-inch rims are youthful.


On June 20, the Chinese MIIT revealed that the Wuling Bingo S had applied for a sales license. According to the declaration information, the Wuling Bingo S adopts a five-seat layout and has body dimensions of 4265/1785/1600 mm and a wheelbase of 2610 mm. For reference, the Wuling Bingo Plus measures 4090/1720/1575 mm with the same wheelbase. The curb weight is 1325 kg.
Power comes from an electric motor (model TZ180XS275) with a maximum power of 75 kW (101 hp), paired with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack. The top speed is 150 km/h. The battery pack capacity and range info are not known at this time.
In 2024, the Wuling Bingo series sold 236,574 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 41%. Last month, the series sold 17,891 vehicles. Once launched, the Wuling Bingo S will compete directly with vehicles including the Geely Geome Xingyuan and BYD Dolphin. It is worth pointing out that the Geely Geome Xingyuan was the best-selling model in China for the first five months of 2025.
