Xiaomi Auto delivered 300,000 units 15 months after the market launch in China. The young car brand has been delivering 647 vehicles per day on average. Its current model line includes three models.

Xiaomi founder and chairman Lei Jun founded the automotive branch in 2021. Its first model, the SU7 electric sedan, debuted in December 2023. It was launched on March 28, 2024. This car rapidly became a hot seller in China. The brand’s second model, the SU7 Ultra sports car, started sales in China on February 27. The Xiaomi Auto launched the YU7 crossover on June 26. It started deliveries on July 6.

Xiaomi Auto cumulative deliveries

Xiaomi announced on July 10 that its cumulative deliveries reached 300,000 units. Brand’s officials shared that it took only 15 months to accomplish this volume. According to data obtained by CarNewsChina, the first Xiaomi vehicle was delivered to an owner on April 3, 2024.

We have calculated that Xiaomi spent 464 days to reach this delivery number. It means Xiaomi has been delivering 647 vehicles per day on average. It is around 27 units per hour. It is worth mentioning that Xiaomi Auto delivered 511 cars per day last year. In 2025, this number rose to 840 units daily. It is more than one vehicle delivered every two minutes. Xiaomi Auto has delivered 160,513 vehicles this year.

It took Xiaomi over seven months to deliver 100,000 cars to their owners. However, the 200,000th car was handed over to an owner just four months later. Three and a half more months after, Xiaomi’s cumulative deliveries reached 300,000 vehicles.

The brand’s first model, the Xiaomi SU7 sedan, occupies most of the mentioned delivery volume as the YU7 SUV started deliveries on July 6 in China. As for the brand’s second model, it is the higher-priced SU7 Ultra sports car, which has a lower demand. This model has a delivery waiting time of 6 – 18 weeks in the Xiaomi Auto App. On the other hand, the regular SU7 sedan could be delivered within 33 – 42 weeks. And the Xiaomi YU7 delivery waiting time is 40 – 60 weeks.

This year, Xiaomi Auto plans to sell 350,000 units. The company has completed 45.7% of this goal as of July 10. The launch of the phase two (F2) factory in Beijing will allow the company to ramp up production volume and reach the mentioned target.
