The all-new Aito M7 large EREV crossover from Huawei and Seres was officially revealed in China. It shares the design language with the previously launched Aito M8. The all-new M7 will enter the domestic market in September 2025 to boost the model’s slowed sales. The new Aito M7 will likely enter overseas markets under the Seres brand as well.
The Aito M7 was launched in 2022 as an EREV crossover based on the Dongfeng Fengon ix7 petrol-powered SUV. It was initially priced at 319,800 yuan (44,700 USD). In late 2023, Huawei & Seres launched the updated Aito M7 in China with a price tag sliced to 258,000 yuan (36,060 USD). A noticeable price reduction turned into a sales boost. As a result, the Aito M7 sold 193,342 units last year.
However, the M7’s sales declined by 71% in the first half of 2025, according to China EV DataTracker. This year, Huawei & Seres will launch the all-new M7 crossover to boost sales once again.

The all-new Aito M7 large crossover adopts the “Interstellar Matrix” design language introduced by the Aito M8 SUV. The new model has a closed front end with a gauntlet-shaped headlight and a trapeze-shaped air intake. The car has flush door handles, multi-spoke rims, chrome-plated decorative elements, and a single taillight unit.
The new Aito M7 got blackened pillars and roof rails. Another feature is a LiDAR sensor on the roof. It is highly likely that the new SUV will adopt Huawei’s ADS 4 ADAS. Its core features include an all-speed collision avoidance system, parking assistance, and passing through roundabouts. The car’s body offers a new “Coral Red” color. There is no information about the new Aito M7’s dimensions. It is likely to align with its predecessor. Its length, width, and height are 5020/1945/1760 mm.

The new Aito M7’s powertrain will likely adopt the EREV powertrain system similar to the M8 crossover. Its 4WD variant has a peak power of 392 kW (526 hp) powered by a 37 – 53.4 kWh battery. Under the hood, the Aito M8 has a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine for 118 kW (158 hp). It is worth mentioning that the entry-level Aito M7 will likely adopt the RWD variant with a single e-motor for 227 kW (304 hp).
The new Aito M7 will enter China in September 2025. Its price range will likely align with the current version of this SUV. It lies between 249,800 – 329,800 yuan (34,920 – 46,100 USD). Later, the new model could enter overseas markets. The first-gen M7 is already on sale there under the Seres 7 name.
