Spy Shots: Hyundai ix45 testing in China

The new Hyundai ix45, aka Santa Fe, debuted two days ago at the New York Auto Show. It will debut in China at the Beijing Auto Show later this month, and it will be made in China by the Beijing-Hyundai joint venture. The new ix45 will be listed on the Chinese car market in Q4.

The ix45 will be available as a 5-seat or a 7-seat model. Engines for the Chinese market: 2.4 four-cylinder with 190hp, 2.0 four-cylinder turbo with 264hp and a 3.3 V6 with 290hp. It will be the first time that Hyundai offers this powerful V6-engine in China.
