The Nissan N7 deliveries reached 10,000 units in 45 days in China. Priced at 119,900 yuan (16,720 USD), this electric sedan boasts a 4.9-meter body length, an e-motor for 200 kW (268 hp), and up to 635 km of CLTC range.
The Nissan N7 is the first NEV product from the Dongfeng-Nissan joint venture, launched on April 28. This model got 10,000 orders 18 days after the launch. On June 16, Dongfeng-Nissan secured over 20,000 orders. The N7’s deliveries kicked off on May 17. 45 days later, Nissan announced the 10,000th delivery in China. Previously, it was reported that Nissan is exploring bringing the N7 to Japan.
Nissan N7 deliveries
On June 30, Nissan officially shared that the 10,000th N7 electric sedan was delivered to a customer. Company officials shared that it took 45 days to reach this sales goal. According to China EV DataTracker, 3,034 units of the N7 were sold in May. Interestingly, 645 more units of N7 were registered in April 2025. CarNewsChina assumes these are vehicles for test drives and display at dealers since official deliveries kicked off only on May 17.

It seems that Nissan delivered over 6,000 N7 sedans in June. It isn’t a significant number for the vast Chinese market. We can compare it with the Xpeng Mona M03, which has a similar starting price of 119,900 yuan. It sold 10,900 units in May. However, the N7 seems to be doing better than the China-made Mazda EZ-6 (Mazda 6e). This model sold 1,821 units in May.
It was previously reported that Nissan is considering bringing the N7 to Japan. However, this information wasn’t officially proven. The international release will help to accelerate the Dongfeng-Nissan JV’s electrification development.
