Zeekr 9X interior revealed: an 80,000 USD SUV with world’s largest PHEV battery and 3-ton weight
Zeekr, the premium electric vehicle brand under Geely, today offered an exclusive glimpse into the luxurious interior of its upcoming Zeekr 9X, ahead of its full reveal and pre-sale launch at the Chengdu Auto Show tomorrow. The official images highlight a sound system previously exclusive to the ultra-luxury car brand Bentley.
The second row of the Zeekr 9X boasts dual zero-gravity seats. These seats offer features such as heating, ventilation, massage functions, and adjustable leg support. For versatility and passenger interaction, the seats can also rotate a full 180 degrees. Rear passengers will also benefit from a large entertainment screen.
The vehicle’s infotainment system is powered by a high-performance Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip. The cabin’s ambience is enhanced by a solid wood central armrest, which integrates a wireless charging pad and crystal rotary knobs.

The Zeekr 9X is equipped with a Naim audio system, marking the first time this brand has been featured in a Chinese automobile. The Zeekr 9X will be one of only two vehicles globally to offer this sound experience. The Naim system boasts a peak power output of 3868W, with a speaker bandwidth covering 20Hz to 40kHz, ensuring full-frequency sound reproduction. The setup includes a 9.2.4.8 channel configuration, featuring 32 Naim speakers, eight seat shakers, and 40 independent tuning channels.

A highlight of the Zeekr 9X’s powertrain is its CATL-made Freevoy battery, available in 55.1 kWh and 70 kWh capacities. The 70 kWh version is the largest battery pack in any passenger PHEV, offering a pure electric range of up to 302 km under CLTC conditions. Built on a 900V system, the battery supports a maximum 6C charging rate, allowing for a 20% to 80% charge in 9 minutes.

Other details.
The large battery is also the reason that Zeekr 9X’s curb weight exceeds 3 tons. CarNewsChina estimates the price to start from around 80,000 USD.
