Li Auto i6 electric crossover launched in China for 35,010 USD
The Li Auto i6 was launched in China as a BEV 5-seat crossover with 720 km of range, 4WD, and a ceiling-mounted screen for 21.4 inches. It is available for purchase with a starting price of 249,800 yuan (35,010 USD).
Li Auto is the first Chinese NEV maker to become profitable thanks to a high sales volume of its range-extended crossovers. Last year, this brand started exploring the BEV segment with the launch of the Mega minivan. However, the Li’s first all-electric model fell short of expectations in terms of sales. In July 2025, Li Auto launched its second BEV model, which is the i8 6-seat SUV. It delivered 2,212 units last month, according to China EV DataTracker.
On September 26, the third Li-branded model entered the domestic market. It is the large 5-seat crossover called i6. This BEV has the highest market potential among other pure electric cars from Li Auto, primarily due to its moderate price range.
More about the Li i6
The Li Auto i6 is a large crossover that stays in line with the previously launched i8 in terms of exterior styling. It has a sloped front end with headlights integrated into the front bumper and an LED running light strip under the windshield. Other exterior features include retractable door handles, a LiDAR sensor on the roof, and a sleek roofline. Five exterior colors are available: black, gray, yellow, silver, and white.

Dimensions of the Li i6 are 4950/1935/1655 mm with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. Despite being long enough, it offers two rows of seats with a 2+3 layout. The car’s center console stays in line with other brands’ models. It offers a block made of two 15.7-inch screens. A steering wheel has an additional small touchscreen. A 16.8-inch head-up display replaces the conventional instrument panel.

The Li Auto i6 has a large ceiling-mounted 21.4-inch screen. It was previously available on three Li-branded cars: the Li Mega, the Li L9 2025, and the Li i8. Other models (L7, L8) offer a smaller 15.7-inch monitor. Other features of the Li i6 include an 8.8-liter built-in refrigerator, rear-row sunshades, 20 speakers, and nine airbags. Interior is available in three shades: white, brown, and orange. Each seat supports heating functions. The front seats have a 10-point massage.

The Li i7 adopts the AD Max driver assistance system powered by the Nvidia Thor chip with a peak power output of 700 TOPS. It is capable of point-to-point navigation on urban roads and highways.
The RWD variant of the Li Auto i6 has a single e-motor in the rear axle for 250 kW (325 hp). The 4WD variant has an additional e-motor for 150 kW (201 hp) in the front. The system’s combined power output is 400 kW (536 hp). This variant of the Li i6 speeds up to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. The Li i6 adopts a dual-chamber air suspension and continuous damping control system.

A CATL-made LFP battery for 87.3 kWh powers e-motors. The RWD Li i6’s range is 720 km. This battery supports the 5C charging technology, allowing a car to charge 500 km of range in 10 minutes.
