Deepal L06 with world’s first 3nm automotive cockpit chip starts pre-sale for less than 20,000 USD
Changan‘s Deepal officially opened pre-orders for its L06 sedan, with prices ranging from 139,900 to 161,900 yuan (19,200 to 22,200 USD). Positioned as a mid-size vehicle, the L06’s features include LiDAR across all trims, a 3nm automotive-grade cockpit chip, and magnetorheological suspension.
The Deepal L06 will be available in four variants, offering pure electric driving ranges of 560 kilometres and 670 kilometres.
The L06 adopts Deepal’s latest design language, featuring a minimalist front fascia. The vehicle measures 4830mm in length, 1905mm in width, and 1480mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2900mm.

A key highlight is the integration of a 3nm automotive-grade cockpit chip, as well as the standard inclusion of LiDAR across all models.

The rear of the L06 features a subtly upturned “ducktail” spoiler, complemented by a large diffuser, a full-width taillight design and the brand logo in the centre.

Inside, the L06 presents a classic T-shaped layout. The specially designed three-spoke steering wheel offers both scroll wheel and button controls. A large central control screen dominates the dashboard, with air conditioning vents positioned below. The interior is further enhanced by a 50-inch AR-HUD (Augmented Reality Head-Up Display).

In terms of power, the pure electric version of the Deepal L06 will be equipped with a 200 kW (268 hp) motor. Depending on the variant, it will feature either a 56.12 kWh or 68.82 kWh CATL 3C supercharging battery, providing driving ranges of 560 kilometres and 670 kilometres, respectively.
About the 3nm chip
According to the chip manufacturer MediaTek, unveiled on 17 Oct 2025, its 3 nm flagship cockpit chip Tianji Cabin S1 Ultra fuses generative-AI with 280K-DMIPS Armv9 “all-big” CPUs, a 4-TFLOPS ray-tracing GPU, and a 53-TOPS NPU to deliver class-leading compute. It runs 13-billion-parameter LLMs and Stable-Diffusion-class models on-device while driving up to ten concurrent 8K/4K displays, 360° vision, HDR ISP with AI denoise/3A, and an integrated 5G/Wi-Fi/BT/GNSS modem—shrinking BOM and accelerating time-to-market for automakers.
