Geely Galaxy officially announced today the launch of its 2026 Starship 7 EM-i, known internationally as the Geely Starry EM-i. It’s a direct competitor of BYD’s popular Song Pro DM-i, which is also an international model. The new model is available in four variants, with official guide prices ranging from 95,800 to 123,800 yuan (13,400 to 17,300 USD).

A key highlight of the 2026 Starship 7 EM-i is its extended pure electric driving range, with the top-tier model now offering an impressive 200km CLTC pure electric range. The entry-level variant also sees its CLTC pure electric range boosted from 55km to 130km, with a 135km option also available. The maximum combined range reaches 1575km.

Built on the GEA new energy exclusive architecture, the 2026 Starship 7 EM-i retains its compact SUV positioning and largely maintains its exterior design. A new “Star Sea Blue” exterior paint option has been added. The front fascia features a closed grille design, complemented by a continuous LED daytime running light strip and sharp headlights.

Further comfort features include front double-layer acoustic glass, heated rear seats, and a heated steering wheel.

Under the hood, the new Starship 7 EM-i is powered by the latest Thor AI Electric Hybrid 2.0 system. While the 1.5L plug-in hybrid system’s engine power remains at 82 kilowatts, the drive motor has been upgraded from 160 kW (215 hp) to 175 kW (235 hp). For advanced driver assistance, the vehicle is equipped with the Qianli Haohan H3 intelligent driving assistance solution.
