Geely officially launched its 5th-generation Emgrand, introducing an upgraded model with a more powerful engine, enhanced dimensions, and the integration of the Flyme Auto intelligent cockpit system. The new sedan is available in four variants, with a price range of 9,000 to 11,400 USD.

The 5th-generation Emgrand showcases Geely’s 4.0 family design language. The front fascia features a newly designed, large-sized waterfall-style grille with 12 vertical chrome strips, flanked by sharp headlights and three-segment LED daytime running lights.

Dimensionally, the new Emgrand has grown, now measuring 4815mm in length, 1885mm in width, and 1480mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2755mm. The side profile is further accentuated by newly designed 18-inch wheels paired with 235/45 R18 tyres.

At the rear, the Emgrand features slender LED “super red light” taillights, boasting a penetration capability of over 300 meters. The taillights are connected by a decorative plastic panel. Silver trim adorns the lower part of the side skirts, and the rear bumper incorporates decorative dual exhaust outlets.

Inside, the cabin has been redesigned, featuring a black and brown colour scheme. The highlight of the interior is the combination of a digital instrument cluster and a large 14.6-inch floating central control screen, which integrates the Flyme Auto intelligent cockpit system.

Convenience features include a 50W air-cooled wireless fast charging pad located beneath the centre console. Geely has also retained some metallic-textured physical buttons for essential controls, and extensive soft-touch materials are used throughout the interior.

Under the hood, the 5th-generation Emgrand receives a power upgrade. It transitions from a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine to a more potent 1.5T turbocharged engine, delivering a maximum power output of 133 kW (178 hp) and a peak torque of 290 Nm. This power is managed by a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, enabling the sedan to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds.
