The Geely Galaxy V900 minivan with EREV powertrain set a Guinness World Record by fitting 42 people inside the cabin. According to the automaker, this MPV boasts the best-in-class interior area of 8.41 square meters and an interior space utilization rate of 91.8%.
The Geely Galaxy V900 is an EREV variant of the previously launched electric LEVC L380 multi-purpose vehicle. It applied for a sales license in China on September 10. On November 21, the V900 made its debut at the 2025 Guangzhou Auto Show. Shortly after, Geely Galaxy officials shared that this minivan set a Guinness World Record.

The Geely Galaxy V900 got the Guinness World Record for the most people crammed in a multi-purpose vehicle. It fitted 42 female dancers inside. Geely shared a video of this achievement. It has appeared that this record was set on October 27. However, the automaker shared it recently as the car got closer to the sales launch.
According to Geely Galaxy, the average height of people crammed in the V900 is 170 cm (approximately 5’6”). This achievement was made possible by the V900’s interior area of 8.41 square meters, with over a meter of space between rows of seats, and a space utilization rate of 91.8%.
We will highlight that this Guinness World Record doesn’t look so impressive if we list the results of other segments. For example, the Toyota Rav4 fit 41 people in 2015, and the Volkswagen campervan fit 50 people in the same year.

The Geely Galaxy V900 is a large vehicle with a short front end and a flat roofline. It boasts hefty dimensions of 5360/1998/1940 mm with a wheelbase of 3,200 mm. The interior of the Galaxy V900 adopts two variants. The first one offers three rows for six seats. And the second configuration has four rows with eight seats.
The six-seat model’s trunk offers a depth of 919 mm. The eight-seat variant offers a depth of 347 mm. However, the fourth-row seats can be folded flat thanks to the floor recess. The V900 rides on 18-inch or 20-inch wheels. This model could be optionally equipped with power side steps.
The V900 has a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol generator under the hood with a peak power of 120 kW (161 hp). This minivan has two ternary NMC battery options for 43.3 kWh and 50 kWh. The car’s electric range lies between 165 and 202 km under CLTC conditions. Fuel consumption of the V900 with a drained battery is 7 – 7.2 liters per 100 km. There is no information about electric motors and pricing.
