Production of the new Beijing Auto B70G will start on September 30, it will then be launched on the Chinese car market late in Q4. The B70G debuted on the Beijing Auto Show last month and recently got a kinky Chinese name.

Beijing Auto B70G

The Beijing Auto B70G is based on the old Saab 9-5. AIC, Beijing Auto’s parent company, bought the platforms and engines for the 9-5 and 9-3 from GM in 2009. The C70G will be powered by a reworked Saab 2.0 turbo with 200hp and 300nm. Price yet unknown but to win buyers it needs to be cheap.
