Yema MPV from China

This must be one of the biggest surprises for the Chengdu Auto Show that starts tomorrow. News about Yema however can’t wait a minute more. This is an entirely new small MPV, a sort of vehicle that Yema doesn’t make yet. They kept it very secret up until now, we haven’t seen any spy shots or patent applications. It loox very ready for production but when it’ll hit the market is yet unknown.

Size-wise it seems to be about as big as all other Yema’s, meaning the platform is likely Austin Maestro again. Yema got two engines now; an old 1.5 originally developed by Toyota and a 1.5 turbo based on the Toyota unit that was developed by Yema itself. More details will follow soon…
