Spy shots showing the Audi A3 sedan testing in China. The Audi A3 sedan will be launched on the Chinese car market just before the end of this year. It will be imported into China first until local production at the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture starts in the second half of next year. The car on the spy shots is made in Germany.
The Audi A3 sedan will be available with 1.4 TFSI and 1.8 TFSI engines. Price for the imported A3 sedan is expected to start around 250.000 yuan which is almost as much as a new locally-made Audi A4L which starts at 272.000 yuan. The Audi A3 Sportback will be made in China as well, production will start late this year.
