The Zotye Z500 debuted on the 2014 Beijing Auto Show, and we were pleasantly surprised by how well it all looked. Small Zotye is growing up! The Zotye Z500 will be launched on the China car market t in the third quarter of the year. Price will start around 90.000 yuan and end around 140.000 yuan.

Nice lines, nice alloys.

The Z500 is the largest sedan ever manufactured by Zotye. It will be positioned above the Zotye Z300 sedan. Power will come from a new 1.5 turbo four-cylinder petrol engine with about 150hp, mated to a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic. Zotye is also working on a new 1.8 and 1.8 turbo that will be launched in early 2015.

A very sweet interior. Wood and luxurious looking leather. I asked staff whether the leather was for real for the production car. “Sure!”, they said, like I was asking something very stupid…

Nice chrome strip under the bumper with the exhaust pipe hanging around a bit in nowhere land. Otherwise a good ass.
