Spy Shots of the facelifted Geely Englon SC3. The Englon badge sits proudly on the grille of the new car, indicating once again that Geely has revoked an earlier decision to kill all its sub brands and focus on the Geely brand.  Englon, it seems, is here to stay. The facelift centers on the front and includes a new grille, new headlights, and a new front bumper.

This is the current Geely Englon SC3, with the Englon logo on the bonnet instead of on the grille. Price starts at 41.000 yuan and ends at 47.800 yuan, making the SC3 one of the cheapest sedans on the China auto market. Lone engine is a 1.3 liter four-cylinder petrol with 86hp, mated to a 5-speed manual.

The engine and transmission will continue in the facelifted SC3 and price will be about the same. Cars like the SC3 are very popular in the giant markets in second and third tier cities where many more Chinese citizens are going for their first car. The facelifted SC3 will debut on the Chengdu Auto Show in September.

Materials seem a bit better but overall design didn’t change.

Nothing new at the back.
