Spy Shots: Venucia SUV testing in China
The very first spy shots of a new Venucia SUV testing in China. It will be launched on the Chinese car market in 2015. Venucia is a sub-brand of the Dongfeng-Nissan joint venture, and so far the only sub-brand enjoying considerable sales success.
The Venucia SUV is based on the old Nissan X-Trail that was manufactured by Dongfeng-Nissan, it was replaced in March by the new Nissan X-Trail. The Venucia SUV will get a different front, other bumpers, new rear lights, new badges, and that will be about all. Power will come from a Nissan 2.0 four-cylinder petrol with 144hp, mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT.
Roof rack could be different as well, and Venucia might make a few changes on the C-pillar.
