This is the new Beijing Auto Senova B70 BEV, a battery electric vehicle based on the Beijing Auto Senova B70, formerly known as the Beijing Auto D-Series. The Senova B70 is based on the old Saab 9-5. Saab however never manufactured an EV-version of the 9-5, the BEV is developed solely by Beijing Auto.

The electric motor is made by the Beijing Auto New Energy Automobile Corporation, a subsidiary of Beijing Auto. Output is 55hp which seems barely enough, as curb weight is a whopping 1760kg. Top speed is a claimed 130km/h. No word yet on range or charging time. The B70 BEV will debut on the Chengdu Auto Show in September and launch on the China car market sometime in Q4.
