The new Cowin V3 MPV has been launched on the Chinese car market. Price starts at 62.800 yuan and ends at 78.800 yuan. The mini MPV segment is booming with ever more buyers and more cars entering the market. The Cowin V3 fits right in and looks good enough for some serious battle.
Cowin Auto is a new car brand under Chery Automobile focused on making cheap vehicles for young car buyers living in third and fourth tier cities, a relatively new market with a potential for zillions of sales. Cowin Auto develops new vehicles from scratch and uses existing Chery platforms.
The Cowin V3 is basically the same car as the Chery Karry K60, which is focuses more on the commercial market.
One engine: a 1.5 liter four-cylinder petrol with 109hp and 140nm, mated to a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic, sending horses to the front wheels. Size: 4606/1790/1750, wheelbase is 2765.
The interior is very nice for a car in this segment. Seat pattern looks great. The touch screen measures 10.1 inch. The infotainment system runs on Chery’s own iCar 1.0. The TFT screen between the blue dials measures 4.2 inch.
Blue dials are hip.
Three air vents, the one in the middle shows the temperature. 30 degrees Celsius in that shop. That’s hot.
The V3 seats seven in a 2+2+3 configuration.

Proper roof rails. Lights look nice. Exhaust pipe tips are fake. Real pipe hides under the bumper on the right side.
Looks rather rough from up front, almost like an SUV.
