The Brilliance H530 sedan has been officially listed on the Chinese car market. Price starts at 79.800 yuan and ends at 125.800 yuan.

Two engines: a Mitsubishi 1.6 with 119hp and 151nm and Brilliance’s own 1.5 turbo with 136hp and 200nm. The 1.5 turbo will be available from launch and not arrive later as previously reported. Transmission: 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic.

The Brilliance 530 is in our opinion one of the best designed cars in China so far. Brilliance didn’t copy-paste like BYD but did their own work. Sure they got some help from Pininfarina of Italy but still the H530 is a proper new start for ‘Chinese’ design.
