Volkswagen Beetle is a Leopard in China
A very wild Volkswagen Beetle, seen taking the corner of my very own street in Beijing. The Beetle is wrapped in a leopard-like skin and made even more pretty by a set of black alloys. The wrap is a genuinely professional piece of work, extending smoothly over the bumpers and mirrors.
A few minutes later I met the same Beetle again, parked on the middle of the street, apparently waiting for someone. As usual the driver was a babe, wearing huge sunglasses and a hat. I waved and smiled, but she ignored me completely. How bad… The Beetle is a relatively rare car to see in China, but the new one seems to be doing a bit better. Our collection is not very big: matte pink, Minnie Mouse, pink, and the truly mad Lucky Star.
