The first spy shots showing the Chery A4 will be called Chery Arrizo 7 when it hits the Chinese car market late this year. The Chery A4/Arrizo 7 was expected to debut on the Shanghai Auto Show last month but didn’t show, instead Chery showed the Alpha 7 concept previewing the new car.
Earlier spy shots had A4 badges on the back. Was Chery fooling us or did they change their mind? All is possible in Chery World. Debut of the Arrizo 7 is expected for the Chengdu Auto Show in September. Price will range from 110.000 to 160.000 yuan.
Power will come from a 1.6 with 126hp and 160nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT. Chery is still working on a 1.4 turbo for the A4 but that engine won’t be available at launch. Size: 4650/1820/1480, wheelbase is 2700.

Sporty dash, quality of the materials seems to improve with every new Chery. Alu-plastic around screen still looks a bit crappy.
