Spy Shots: Chery E3 seen testing in China
New spy shots showing the upcoming Chery E3 sedan testing in China. Launch of the Chery E3 was expected for June but the E3 still didn’t make it to the China car market. New reports in Chinese media indicate the Chery E3 will debut late this year.
The Chery E3 will be positioned between the upcoming Chery A2 and the Chery A5. Power will come from a 1.5 with 108hp, mated to a five-speed manual. Size: 4450/1748/1493, wheelbase is 2570. Chery is also working on a hatchback variant of the E3. Price will range from 60.000 to 80.000 yuan which makes to E3 a new competitor in an already overcrowded segment of the market.
Interior a massive improvement for Chery. Sporty dials and large screen in line with latest trends.
Things look a bit cheaper in the back but there seems no lack of space.
